The British Garden at Hanover Square

Hanover Square at
Williams and Pearl Streets in Lower Manhattan
New York, New York
Website .

Originally created to commemorate 67 British lives lost in 9/11, the plantings were redesigned by Lynden B. Miller and Ronda M Brands beginning 2010 in anticipation of the visit of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth.  It is a small shady park and the design evokes an English garden with many evergreen shrubs and hedges as well as perennials, annuals and bulbs.
